ABOUT St. WILLIBRORD INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL
Principal's Welcome,
It's my pleasure to welcome you to St Willibrord International School. We do things differently, not for the sake of it, but to make a difference in individuals and communities. Everyone, whether parent, student, vendor, visitor or inspector, learns when they spend time with us. We don't just talk about education for life, it flows through everything we do.
Situated in Boisar West we have the advantages of urban and rural living. Away from the industrial area our school is surrounded by nature. Our grounds provide abundant mangoes and coconuts, along with our vegetable garden project. Students receive not just a very high standard of international education but one that is contextual and practical, enabling them to live in the now as well as be prepared for the future.
Our school is affiliated to Cambridge Assessment International Education and our students sit for the IGCSE board exams in 10th Std.
Our Philosophy
We believe that children learn by doing and thinking. Students are given opportunities to work as individuals, in pairs and groups, thus developing communication and collaborative skills. Students experience both academic and practical subjects, ensuring a broad and balanced curriculum.
Our History
St Willibrord International School is part of George Educational Trust and has sister schools in Nallasopara and Virar. The school in Boisar was opened to Std 4 in 2012, growing organically, so as to build culture and strong processes. This year saw our 2nd IGCSE batch take their exams.
